What should I talk over with my doctor prior to accepting inderal (propranolol)?
Prior to accepting Inderal(propranolol), inform your doctor in case you have:
asthma, bronchitis, emphysema;
diabetes;
low blood pressure;
a cardiac problem such as cardiac block, sick sinus syndrome, slow cardiac rate, or congestive cardiac failure;
depression;
liver or kidney disease;
a thyroid disorder;
myasthenia gravis;

What will be if I miss a dose?
For regular (short-acting) Inderal(propranolol): Accept the missed dose as soon as you recollect. In case your next dose is less than 4 hours away, skip the missed dose and accept the preparation at the next regularly scheduled time.
For extended-release propranolol (Inderal LA, InnoPran XL and others): Accept the missed dose as soon as you recollect. In case your next dose is less than 8 hours away, skip the missed dose and accept the preparation at the next regularly scheduled time.
Do not accept extra preparation to make up the missed dose.
